Meet Davie.

Davie was born with hypotonia, cerebellar hypoplasia, some structural abnormalities and various other differences. We have yet to find an "official" diagnosis for him though we have had genetic testing, brain MRI and have seen numerous specialists throughout the years. We are now awaiting WES testing results.

As a mother who has struggled with not knowing if her child would make it to 2, 4 or 6 months, I understand the fear, confusion and pain of simply not knowing what is wrong with your child. Davie has had airway issues, feeding issues, SVT and many other hiccups along his way. Davie's hypotonia affects him moderately and he is still not walking...but getting there!

I created this site

to connect with other special needs parents, therapists and anyone else who would like to share information and hope regarding their special needs child. I plan on sharing information starting from his birth to present day about his struggles and gains. I remember wanting so badly to find another child like mine for answers or just a little help. I hope I can be that to someone who is looking for hope in all aspects of raising a child that is different.
